Securing your Order: DEPOSITS are due for all custom orders before they are put on our calendar to be made.  Deposit acts as your signature that you agree with the details and policies for ordering a custom cake, so please read through your quote before submitting deposit & payments. Please remember deposits and NON-REFUNDABLE!

ChangesYou may make reasonable changes to the design of your cake up to 1 week prior to your event.

Pick-Up Disclaimer

If you choose to pick up your cake and transport it yourself, I am not liable or responsible for the cake once it has left the bakery. You should prepare your vehicle so it is clean and free of items that could roll or slide into the cake. I will do everything in my power to provide a well-structured cake, but please note that cakes are very fragile and break easily, drive carefully and slowly.

Once the cake leaves my shop, I am not responsible for any damage occurring to the cake during transport, set-up or any time thereafter.

DELIVERY POLICY

Please be advised that delivery times cannot be guaranteed. All timed requests will be noted and prioritized. Delivery should be arranged at the time the reservation is placed or as soon as possible afterward. The delivery charge covers my time, fuel costs and set-up.  The cost of delivery is based on mileage and time. 

Collection (Pick up) Policy Please be on time to collect your order.  You have a 15-minute window to pick up your order.  Unfortunately, I cannot guarantee that I will remain at the pick up location outside  your collection window. Therefore, a fee of $30 will be applied every fifteen minutes beyond your collection window.  Late fees must be paid to collect your order.  

Weather

Heat and humidity can adversely affect our product(s).  In warmer months, it is advised that our product(s) be kept in an air-conditioned area or, at the very least, a cool area. (Refrigeration is not recommended for fondant cakes).  It is strongly suggested that the product(s) being collected by the customer are transported in an air-conditioned vehicle. Sweeter than Sugar is in no way responsible for any damage that may occur due to weather conditions.
